Ivan Popov, founder of HaulPlace

From the Founder

Built by someone
who lived it.

I drove a semi for 12 years — dry van, reefer, flatbed. I know the routes, the truck stops, the rest areas by heart. And one thing never stopped bugging me: why does trucking need ten different apps? One to buy a truck, another to rent, a third for loads, a fourth for dispatch, a fifth to find a job — in and out, around in circles, every single day.

I listened to hundreds of drivers along the way — including the old-timers who still won't touch a smartphone — and we all hit the same walls. So I built the one place I always wished existed: everything trucking, together, simple enough for anyone behind the wheel.

This industry moves America. It deserves tools that move it forward — and a fair shot for every single person in it.

Straight Answers

The questions every trucker asks before signing up.

Is it really free for drivers?

Yes — free forever, and that's written into our pricing, not just this page. HaulPlace makes money from companies and featured listings, never from drivers looking for work.

Who can see my phone number?

Nobody — until you decide. Companies reach you through your HaulPlace Inbox. Your number and email stay private unless you personally share them in a reply.

Will recruiters blow up my phone?

No. Only FMCSA-verified companies can start a conversation, they're limited in how many they can start, and everything goes through your Inbox — you reply if and when you want.

Do you sell my data?

No. Your profile exists so companies can find and hire you — that's the whole point. We don't sell your email, phone, or data to anyone. Ever.

Who is behind HaulPlace?

HaulPlace is built and operated by ID MEDIA LLC (Chicago, IL) — founded by a driver with 12 years on the road, not a tech company guessing what trucking needs.

How's the ride so far?

HaulPlace is built with the people who use it. Two honest minutes from you decide what we fix and what we build next.

Optional — pick as many as you want.

Every message is read by a human — the one building this.

Heard, loud and clear

Thanks for the honesty — it goes straight onto the build list.
